Would you know how to check the battery condition of an A1L quick recycle
flash as used on an XA 4? I just bought this set from EBay.
The flash fires (seems ok) but don't have a flash meter to compare.
All I see is that the red LED lights up for a brief moment right after the
unit is turned on, then dies out. This happens also after each time the
flash is used.
What type of battery is used in this? i cannot see any user acccessible
battery compartment. In this case,knowing that this flash unit is quite old,
how long was the battery designed to last?
