I agree 100%.

I think part of the 'American' problem really lies with semantics. United
Stateiens just doesn't have much of a ring to it. And actually if we wanted to
be correct Canadians and US citizens would be refered to as NORTH Amercians.
Folks from Mexico, Equador, Peru, Argentina, ect prefer to be refered to as
SOUTH or CENTRAL Americans (at least those that I know.) I am sure this is to
distance themselves from UGLY Americans or Yanquis. :)
