Thanks to all for information about the Rolleicord. I went to the shop today to
give the thing a closer inspection. It was the Rolleicord Va; this model has no
built-in meter. Unfortunately the camera was not in the mint condition I
expected. The viewer shaft did not operate as smoothly as it should, and
apparently some force has been applied on it because the paint was damaged. Not
very disturbing, but the real problem was that the longer shutter speeds (1/8
and longer) did not function properly. The shop was not willing to have the
thing repaired, they just wanted to drop the price to f.500 (and also drop the
warrenty). I decided that this was still too much, that I would be taking too
much risks for running into high repair costs (I estimate these to be at least
f.200). They refused my offer of f.400.
So I would be paying most for all the accessories, like the original filters,
the mask for smaller formats, a bulb flash, a selenium based Gossen meter, the
close-up lenses and teleconverter. Maybe nice for a collector to get all these
items in one buy, but I was really only interested in the camera so for that
price I would expect a fully functional sample.

Better luck next time; these cameras are not really hard to find.
