Newark Electronics carries 1/3 AA NiCd batteries (110 mAh capacity), for
$3.15
each. They are Panasonic brand; don't know if they have tabs, though.

I went to the local Batteries Plus. You'd think they'd have these things.
That's where I got the useless NiMH. Thought they might have the 1/3 AA.
They did.
$4 each for 12 = $48. Plus, they didn't have tabs, so they insisted they'd
have to spot weld them.
Didn't even ask how much.
Anyone know a good source of the Varta NiHM and the right NiCad 1/3 AA with
tabs online? I think I'll do one of each and compare them.
