Might well be, Skip. I'm only reporting what I can see about the filter
under a strong light, which is no colored reflection of any sort (like I'm
used to seeing on coated optics of various types). I'd be the *last* person
to claim to be an expert in things like optical coatings, however.

It would have been more accurate to say that "there's no readily visible
evidence of any type of coating".

I hate to chime in, but there is NO WAY that any Olympus OM-System products 
were uncoated.  The last time uncoated optics were produced in volume for 
the consumer market was around and just after WWII.

Perhaps it's not MUTI-coated.  Remember that most of the early OM lenses 
wern't MC'd.
