I just tried it with a 50/3.5 and a 25mm extension tube and it can fit.
The lens does sit about 1mm too high, but there's enough play in the slide
copier that I can push it up by 1mm.  If 1mm isn't enough, you can always
loosen the camera retaining screw on the focusing stage and put a piece of
paper under the back side of the camera.  That should cause the body to tilt
forward a bit giving you a little better lens alignment.
