since the esif takes up so much space (all the pics, pdfs etc), why not
also have a pdf "lite" sans images, ie a text only version. it works for
reference purposes, and all you'd have to do is just not put the img tags
or embed anyhthing. untill the main site can be relocated, methinks
garth's company will be seeing quite a bit of traffic.... any other ideas
anyone?
i might get some heat from involved parties for this, but since i'd hate
to see the esif go: what about someone who already has a PWS running
volunteer to host a mirror for the time being, perhaps even a permanent
mirror even after hans relocates (in addition to garth, if need be). i
know some of you folks are running it out of your house (no names).
i don't know how to do this, or if it can be done, but can a url be set up
so it redirects to two or three hosts all with the same copy, depending on
which site is leat busy at that point in time?
maybe i'm just rambling, but some ideas that came to mind.
