Many thanks for the friendly welcome - nice to hear from people around
the world and also around the corner! I'm now clear on what Bokeh
means, but if I may be permitted a supplementary question... how does
one pronounce it??
Having seen Mickey's fine photo taken using the Soligor 500mm I think
I'll give it a go. (Also liked your other Paris & London shots, Mickey,
especially the Eiffel Tower - wonderful place). The Tamron would be a
little beyond my means at the moment, I think.
Rich - yes, I was very much 'pissed' in the British sense when that
photo was taken. Gave up alcohol the following morning...
Regarding my website, though - I'm currently in the middle of the vast
project of rescanning all my photos. Thanks to a marvellous webpage
I've now worked out how to use my scanner properly. If anyone has an
