I think you need to put another camera in opposition to your nuclear one,
and set it on B for a few weeks or months... I'm sure we can find something
harmful or damaging here and sick the EPA or NRC on Olympus...

I suppose you could attach a locking release cord to the shutter release,
set 
the camera to "B", put a lens cap on it, lock it on "B" and set it aside for

a day or two....
