Well, a package just arrived from B&H including my new 2-4 screen. But
I've been following the recent posts discussing the problems with the
2-4 and so now I'm having second thoughts. Maybe I should return it and
exchange for another? Here's the deal, I just don't like the split image
screen now in my OM2sp. I find it hard to see the image in the center
focusing area and use the edge of the view. I find the split image worse
than useless. And with a dark telephoto (500/8) it blacks out
altogether. I thought that the 2-4 would be a real improvement. What I
really like is the screen in my old OM1 with the center not split, don't
know what you call it. With it I can just concentrate on the image for
focusing. I was assuming that the 2-4 will be like that but brighter. Am
I wrong? I'd be happy enough just with a bright, clear view without
split images, fuzzy images, sparkling images, circles, lines and arrows,
etc. But i guess the meter doesn't work with a clear view. Maybe I could
live with that on the OM2sp. What do you think?
