: I have been frustrated in recent years in my attempts to find books on the OM
: system in camera stores, most of which carry literature for the other big
: names. So far, the old Carl Shipman book seems pretty much "it", unless
: there are other titles I am unaware of (anybody?).

L.A. Mannheim's 'The Olympus OM Way' has a higher status for 'le connaisseur',
which is unfortunately reflected in its price. Even more unfortunately is that
the book never got updated after the OM-1n/OM-2n/OM-10 period. If someone ever
wrote a book with the depth of this book, but covering everything Oly ever made
for OM like the eSIF does, that would be interesting. Maybe it would be a nice
project for John Foster once his Pen F book is ready. L.A. himself seems to have
vanished from the earth; attempts by me and Mark to contact his former American
and German publishers about getting permission to republish the old OM Way were
in vain.
