I use Eudora in sponsored mode and do not regard the small ad in
the top left corner of the screen as too obtrusive. I suspect that the
transmission of the associated data slows the downloading of e-mails a
little but it is still very much quicker than when using my netscape.net
address and webmail with Netscape.
My vote is for Eudora in sponsored mode as a satisfied customer (I
am not so sure of the spell checker - but then I do speak English and not
American) (ducks!).
But what I need is a practical way of cutting down the SPAM which
seems to follow when one reveals an address in usenet or elsewhere.
