I'm still a novice and maybe there's a better way to do it but I scanned
mine at 2700 dpi, cleaned up a few dust spots at high magnification,
saved that image and then reduced the image to 800 pixels width while
maintaining the proportions of the original. That brought the height to
a bit under 640 pixels.
