I too have been the lucky beneficiary of one our US List friends. He
sent me a 40/2 hood a couple of years ago (1999 I think) and followed
it up with 2 extremely useful books earlier this year. I cannot
think of a way to thank him except to offer him my family's
hospitality if (when) he visits the UK.
