In my case the purchase into the OM system just
followed naturally from the Pen F system. However I
also owned and used extensively a Miranda Fv with
several lenses, eyelevel and waistlevel finders and 3
screens if I remember right. Actually a very sweet
little camera. I was initally disapointed that the OM
did not have interchangeable finders, but this would
ofcourse increased the overall height and complexety
of the camera. As for the SS control placement it was
Ok with me either way. The one thing I could not give
up is interchangable screens! I much pefer the plain
matte. I had that type in the Miranda and use it in
the OM, I just can't get used to a split wedge or
microprism mucking up my view! John Robison
