Let me say first that I do appreciate your time and effort in this sort of testing. Without a diopter and using a 1-series screen, it wouldn't matter what type of screen it was, I'd find it less than ideal.

I always use corrective diopters and I also prefer the 2-13 screen. With such a bright screen I find that I use the matte portion to focus about 80% of the time. The split image element is great with wides. But I find I like to compose and then do the critical focusing. I seem to compose with the main subject off center most of the time, so the matte does the focusing work. The 2-13 still covers options very well, and one possibly needs to remind oneself that the 2-13 is predominantly a matte surface.

What I'd really like though is a 2-10.
