Subject: [OM] 75-150 question

| I'm considering purchase of a 75-150/4. Cosmetically in good shape with
| only minor use marks. Glass looks fine inside and out. My question
| concerns the zoom action. This is the first time I've actually had one
| in hand and have nothing to compare it with. It doesn't turn as it zooms
| and I can see the element inside slide up and down, all well and good.
| This action however has a much different sound/feel than the focus sound
| I'm used to which is barely a sound at all. This you can actually hear
| move. Is this right? I've only used zooms that rotate and they feel much
| smoother than this one. So is this a function of this design or a defect
| in the lens?
|
| thanks
| Mike
