Well Dave

I bought my OM2SP from London Camera Exchange in Lincoln last week.
It was priced at =A3149 along with another one that had a dent on the
pentaprism and no MD cap! I pointed out the differences and they let
me have a 35/2.8 (SC I think) for a total of =A3180. Not a Doris F,
but pretty good for me.... now how do you know if it has the "dreaded
flying shutter strings"?

Some, many or all especially flash exposures will have streaks on the image
(sometimes a blurred shadow, sometimes brightly / multi coloured lines ).
On the negative itself, they look like scratches but only appear on the
exposed area. They are quite unmistakable.

This in an otherwise perfect OM2SP was too much to bear....:-(

Dave
