Close up lenses can be astonishingly good, but I would recommend to
buy only the two or three element achromatic lenses as made by Olympus
(for the IS-system) and also by many other major camera brands.

With close up lenses you won't face loss of light, as you would with
extension rings. And in macro work any extra light is most welcome!

BTW, the A-type lenses fit into 49mm filter threads, the B-type is for
55mm. I am afraid this is not mentioned on Hans' webpage... but
perhaps it is redundant information for peopel who know their IS
camera well enough!
