If you mean the negatives from which printing plates are burned, there are
four, corresponding to CMYK in Photoshop. That's cyan, magenta, yellow and
black. That, by the way, is why Photoshop is nearly universal to
professionals- the ability to produce color separations for printing,
something most other programs cannot. If you can get the negatives, and scan
them (remember, they are at actual size), holding registration would be
nearly impossible.
