There are a number of problems with the AX. It has been criticized for being
very heavy and bulky, even for a Contax! The autofocus is also slow compared
to any pro level camera on the market. The autofocus also does not work with
some lenses without presetting a range, esp longer telephoto lenses. In many
ways it is a brilliant idea, but the limitations make it very unlikely that
it would be salable in an OM.
