NOTE: Do NOT attempt to replace the PX625 with newer alkalines having
the same form factor (physical dimensions). They DON'T work (reference
voltage is too high and they have the wrong characteristic discharge
curve), and they MIGHT fry the needle movement of the OM-1(n)'s meter.
Don't let any sales person try to tell you otherwise -- they're wrong,
wrong, wrong, and they might as well get used to it. ;-)

Hear, hear! I've got tired of arguing with dorks that think that, just
because an LR44 alkaline cell has the same physical dimensions and
nominal voltage as an SR44 silver oxide cell, the two are
interchangeable. Here in Indonesia, silver oxide cells do not exist and
probably never have, so any device that requires them, such as a watch,
calculator or camera, is automatically fed alkalines. Try arguing with
the sales person that it's the wrong solution and they look at you as
if you're an idiot.
