The 85-250 balances fine when using the optional tripod clamp......A two-touch
zoom seems to have an advantage over a 1-touch like the 65-200, as there is room
for a tripod clamp! I have with deep regret just sold my 85-250, to try to
achieve some balance in my Olympus economy.

I currently own a 65-200/4, which I am quite fond of. But, the balance on a
tripod, where I use it 1000f the time, is a little poor for my tastes...
Can someone who has used both, or even just the 85-250/5, comment on how it
balances on a tripod compared to the 65-200?

And optically, I would imagine both to be comparable... Weight and size
aren't a concern, and I like the two touch zoom characteristics of the
85-250.

Any comments would be appreciated.

Thanks, James.
