I'm a relatively new owner of the 85-250/5. I find it useful for one
lens only trips but it is dark and hard to focus with the #1 screen and
too long to use without bracing it on a tree etc. if you don't have a
tripod. I got it to fill the gap between 135 and 300 but now think I may
get a 180 or 200 prime instead. I'll give it some more time, it's a
nice lens but might not fit into my style. Anyone have a 180/2.8 and
1.4x to trade?
