Hi,
I've been away from the Olympus Mailing List for a while, but I'm back
to see what's up.
I'm itching to buy a prime zoom lens.
I know this borders on heresy, but I'm stuck trying to decide on a Zuiko
35-105mm F3.5-4.5, or a third party lens -- a Vivitar Series1 28-105mm
F2.8-3.8 for a little under $200 new.
I've read the lens tests on the FAQ page, and done some digging in the
archives of the list, but I'm wondering what other peoples' hands-on
experiences and opinions are of these two lenses -- particularly if
you've had the opportunity to use both of these.
Also, what's reasonable to expect to pay for a used Zuiko 35-105mm
F3.5-4.5? I've seen prices all over the board, and that's got me
wondering...
