Even if you do reply to them you usually find that their mailbox doesn't take
incoming mail, either because it no longer exists or because (and I'm no web
expert) it's some kind of a listserver or autoresponder.
>From a personal point of view, it's a good idea not to visit any webpages at
all from your most-used personal e-mail account address, or to quote it on
any of your webpages, in case someone 'harvests' your e-mail address and then
sends you junk. Using a different e-mail account to visit the web and receive
e-mails about your own webpages seems a reasonable idea.
