Just because it's in your flu shot (Hg in thimersol) doesn't mean it's
safe. Thimersol in vacine greatly exceeds the recommended maximum
allowable for children and is being phased out. Of course industry is
dragging it's feet as usual. Time = $$$. Any parents on the list are
well advised to request thimersol free vacine for their kids.
OM content: I can't remember if i ever changed the Hg battery in my OM1
since i bought it in 1976. Surely not in the last 15 years and it still
works fine. I bought a new battery on my last trip to Canada and plan to
change "just because".
