In the old days, my brother, who worked with printing inks, used to keep a large
open bath of trichlorethylene in the garage for cleaning motorcycle parts -
worked great! I believe that it is carcinogenic, but he seems to have suffered
no ill effects - other than that he lives in Sydney and rides veteran Rudge
motorcycles in races (he is 60 now).
 The dry cleaning liquid is perchlorethylene; not quite so dangerous, I believe,
but under serious suspicion now.

I'd have to go check but I thought 'Trike' was carcinogenic - IARC Class 2a
listing.
