A 50/1.8?  Don't bother.  LNIB examples can be had off of eB*y for about $20 - 
$30 U.S.  Cheaper than cleaning it.  Mind you, it's so cheap to replace with a 
pristine example, you might want to try disassembling it just for the Hell of 
it...
