Hi Bill,

If I understand your description right, I also have one of these caps. It came 
with a used silver nose 135/2.8 and I believe it was made for that lens.

  While scavenging through a box of lens caps at the local purveyor of such 
  items I happened upon an Olympus 55 mm lens cap that looks like an Olympus 
  body cap. It has the two little spring loaded gripper deals on either side.   
  Does anyone know the vintage of thus cap or what it was used on?  Bill Barber
