Although I regard eBay as an excellent resource (albeit, one not
without certain risks and drawbacks), I'd like to comment on KEH -

Not only is KEH one of the very few mail order photo places that's
actually reputable (B&H is also pretty good, and carries both new
and used equipment), but its grading scale seems to be extremely
conservative.

For example, a camera body that KEH describes as being in "EX-"
condition, will often be in better shape than one characterized as
"LN-" by most sellers. And I've seen stuff that KEH has sold as
"BARGAIN," which would normally sell as "EX" by other sellers.

So although KEH appears to charge more than do some sellers, for
items in supposedly comparable condition, in fact the price
difference is sometimes quite minimal, since you can save money by
opting for 1 - 2 notches further down on the condition scale when
buying from KEH.
