I can tell you exactly what they've got in lenses.
Two 85 f2
One 135 f3.5
One 28 f3.5
I just got off the phone with Claude, the ex store manager now digital
buyer, and he said they were still working out the deal with Adorama.
All that equipment has been on the slelves since 1986. He showed me the
original invoices last year when I bought an 85 f2 and 50 f3.5 from him.
I was offered the 4T's then at $690 each plus Tn sales tax of 8.75% but
I had to buy all three. That was their cost in 1986. He sold me the
lenses at cost and I got a good deal on them. The 50 f3.5 was right at
$150 and the 85
was around $180. I just didn't need $2200 worth of bodies. I tried to
buy one of the 85's last week, but now they want new book cost which is
$404. I passed.
