Tom,
I had a go-round two years ago with the big C, surgery, radiation and all
that kind of thing, punishment for 40-plus years of smoking. I think it
was harder on my wife than it was on me. In a way, it?s almost easier
being the patient (drugs help) than being the full-time
visitor/worrier/go-fer/cheerleader and keeper of the stiff upper lip. You
have my sympathy and sincerest hope for your wife?s speedy recovery.
