Production date is not determined by serial number. Manufacture date is
either behind the pressure plate or printed in small white letters in the
film chamber.  It's time to get out your decoder rings......

1987.  It has a serial number of 2,191,6xx.  Unfortunately, this may not
have a strong correlation to when it was *manufactured* -- it's possible it
sat in stock for months or even years before it was finally sold at retail.
