Dear list,

Has anyone compared the various lenses available for OM cameras in the
17-21mm ish category?

I have a Tamron 17mm f/3.5 - I used it a lot in 1992-93 and some since, but I
think it has quite a bit of pincushion distortion and that has put me off it
lately; there is a lot of stretching at the corners and there is even more
than there 'should' be to keep the image rectilinear.

Has anyone else had this experience with the Tamron 17mm, or it just mine?

Since I have now got the Zuiko 21/3.5 I am sticking with that for 'normal'
ultra-wide shots - it is a beauty and so small, very wide angle but not _too_
much.

I always fancied a 16mm Zuiko fisheye and now I have ordered one. ;-)

Dave Bellamy.
