Hi, All!
According my latest sources on Zuiko
lenses, these ones are WITH floating
element design:
18/3,5
21/2,0
24/2,0
28/2,0
90/2,0
100/2,0

So, All the rest is of a "plain" construction,
among them:
16/3,5
21/3,5
24, 28 and 35/2,8
35/2,0 - as well,
50/3,5; 2,0; 1,8; 1,4; 1,2
and so on.....
and finally 85/2,0 is without floating element design.
I have serious doughts if 85/2,0 has ever had the mechanism,
it is quite simple and cheap lens like 35/2,0.

Best photos anyway,
Zbigniew Turon
(Zuiko 85/2,0 owner)

Hate to rain on your parade, but according to Olympus the 50/3.5, 50/2, 85/2 also have the close focusing floating lens element. The 90/2 does not which makes it in your words, "quite simple and cheap". I wonder if anyone said that about Mercedes when they used swing axles like a VW.

At least you have the feature you like on the 85.
