Thank you Marcin, that is good information. Now, in order to set
the OM4 dioptric control to -1.5 diopters, I need to know which
position of the knob corresponds to +1 diopters, (the opposite
extreme being -3 diopters. There are 20 click stops on the knob,
presumably evenly spaced over the range of 4 diopters, i.e. 0.2
diopters per click. Then -1.5 diopters is 8 clicks from the -3.0
extreme (actually -1.6), or 13 clicks from the +1 diopter extreme.

If I use my "subjective" determination of 7 clicks counterclockwise
on the OM4T matches "standard" on the OM2n, as determined by
observing no diopter shift with different magnifications
on the Varimagni, this would lead me to conclude that the -3
diopter setting would be at the most clockwise position of the OM4
adjustment knob, +1 diopter the most counterclockwise position,
and there are 20 evenly spaced 0.2 diopter click stops on the
control.

Can anyone confirm this?

- Parzival
