Well, I work really late (what do you expect from a small software business
owner/programmer/tech-support/janitor from Silicon Valley? ) and before I
went to bed at 4AM, I placed a top bid of $720 on the 90/2 Macro. The
auction closed at 7AM. I figure a new one from B&H is $999 so while a
discount of 28 0sn't great, and I'm sure this lens USED to only sell for
$550 range, it is a pretty good price. Besides, I was almost certain that I
will be outbidded...
Well, looks like I am now a proud owner of a 90/2!!!
Tell me I did the right thing? Oh yes, anyone who wants a Tamron 90/2.8
macro? It's a darned good lens...
Now how can I pay for the 40/2 pancake? Arrghh...
