I had this problem, but obtained a Manfrotto "ARCH" (Architectural) hex
plate which stops the rotation.

Haven't seen the Arca, but Manfrotto make one also, haven't seen one in real
life though.  In the Manfrotto catalogue it looks like a cast aluminium
item.
