Dunno about carriers, but I'd suggest a fibreglass case or wooden
frame to protect it from knocks. Don't depend on just cardboard for
something this big & heavy.

Yousuf Karsh sent me down with a whole truck load of his big
portraits for an exhibition at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts 30+
years ago. So just send your assistant...
