One of the points in this discussion was if you really want TTL control in a
smaller WEAKER strobe, there are those made by Vivitar, etc. that are
comparitively much less expensive that the "$45-$50" T-20. Also, they're
generally of higher quality.

At that "$45-$50" price, the point was simply that you could get something
closer to the T-32 in classification by Metz, or Vivitar, etc. with lower
priced cords, etc. as well. (that will also take them off camera without the
need of a BG-2, and save your hotshoes)
