Dave -

My 85/2 must have traveled with yours. Quite a bit of wear on the outside,
and the mounting surface was quite worn, but the glass was a limpid
crystalline pool of green reflections and no blemishes. The focusing action
was butter smooth too - perhaps it had been cleaned and rebuilt at some
time. After installing a new mount on the lens ($20 from Olympus), it was
functionally as good as new.

I haven't shot with it as much as I should, but I have a real affection for
the old warhorse - someone really put it through its paces!
