Looks like fun Barry. Some nice shots there.
The pilots in the shots really aren't blonde - they had participated in a
charity event in Cold Lake the week before and had had their hair dyed
bright yellow as part of the fundraiser. Great pair of guys. Can't recall
the squadron but perhaps Chris B will recognize the patches.
Hmm, I would reserve judgement on perhaps that there was a "blonde"
competition on while they were TDY... ;-). Similar competitions are
moustache growing (only to shave off half for the end of detachment
party) or head shaving (no, we don't have much imagination :>)).
The name patch makes it a 4 Sqn pair I believe. I remember that a
former member of 4 Sqn taught me to tie a bow tie using a Sqn bow
tie, ending up with "blood over sand" (red over gold). Not that I
normally deign to talk to Harrier pukes you understand ;-).

Obligatory OM content. All shots done with OM-4 and either the 300/4.5 or
the 65-200/4. Beat the guys from the paper with their Nikon F5s -
especially on the landing sequences :-)
