I think there may also be a
consideration of one of them rotates the front element/filter ring while
focusing...? That might be an annoyance using a polarizer.
The 3,5-4,5 rotates when focusing. Very annoying when using a pola. The hood
(same as 50/1.8) also makes pola-using almost impossible.
I bought a defective 3.6 (got it returned) Whatch out so that focus
maintains while zoomming.
