 Windsor,
I would have to agree with your first 2 points . :-)
However I do not find it clumsy or unpleasant to use. I must confess however
that I have recently bought a 100mm f2.8 olympus lens and I am impressed
with its performance - and the fact that it is so compact. So when I do not
need the macro performance I am starting to use the Olympus lens more.
However I still carry the Tamron just in case.
I have just bought an Olympus 50mm f3.5 macro from K.E.H. in excellent
condition , and until it arrives via a relative on vacation , I will keep my
fingers crossed . I just hope the lens is in as good a condition as they
say. Perhaps this lens will solve my macro needs.
                                            Regards, John Duggan, Wales, UK.
