My first venture into a "big time", at least for me, e*ay purchase.

So, when the box arrived (smaller than I thought) I was anxiously wondering
what awaited. The sellers rating was only 21 - all good responses but -
$500+ is a lot of cold hard cash.

Ok then, rip the tape and begin

First lots and lots of peanuts and bubble wrap (well packed)!!

Dig and snip - 35mm 2.8, remove covers, quick look, change aperture, press
preview, all ok - wow, this thing looks like brand new.

Dig some more - 75-150 4.0, check,,,,,, another brand new.... oh wait, small
ding in the built in hood, (hey, it is mentioned in the auction listing)
otherwise,,,,

Back to the box - 35-70 4.0 - this is the nicest one yet!! A fleck of dirt
in the element, no (brush brush) nothing there - another winner!

Back again - 50 3.5 macro - check,,,, man oh man, if this has ever been used
I can't see how or where.

Can my luck hold?

Back to the box again - final piece - OM4 with Winder 1 attached. Examine
verrrryyyy carefully - well, this has been used, a small scratch on the film
holder, tiny amount of brassing on pentaprisim housing, turn on battery
check, beee..... Pop in the 35mm peek in the viewfinder ---- looks like I
will need a manual for this thing - what do all those numbers mean?

What the heck - I am loading some film and heading out. More later.

Ric

ps - no batteries in the winder cheapskate seller!
