Yes, as I found out when I saw the end results -- lots of photos of flowers
with the tip of one petal in focus and the rest blurred.. Still, a couple of
decent ones, and it's good to know just _how_ small the DOF is.
However, the problem I have here is not getting the image on the screen,
it's focussing on the screen at all. I can't even convince my eyes to focus
so that I can see the shutter speed guides at the edge.. If I'm pointing at
something a long way away, and it's really blurry, I can get this into
focus; but if it's something very close up, even if it's nearly in focus, I
can't seem to get any part of the image, even the things that must be in
focus, to come clear.
