Excuse me for my lack of initiative on this one. I have an 18 f3.5 with said
step-up ring. simply call the vendor of your choice, order 1 each of every 72 mm
circular polorizer they have and have them sent to my address. I will happily
test them all and give you the results. I won't even charge you for film and
processing! :)

Seriously, I have not been able to test any yet and would love an answer to the
same question. I CAN tell you that a stock Cokin P holder will vignette if the
filter holders are off to sides. I have actually trimmed mine down so that there
is only one filter slot with hopes that that will work, but have yet to test it.

Tiffen, B&W, Heliopan, and Hoya all make 'thin' or 'wide angle' filters that
SHOULD work, but I have yet to try them.
