What I imagine you could do to alay your fears is to use a Viewfinder
intended for a rangefinder camera - there is a Russian 'Helios' one that
sells here in the UK for 17.50GBP (at Global Cameras - email them at
globalcameras@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx) which gives you a brightline view for 35, 85
and 135mm lenses. If you want to use it on an OM1 you will need a suitable
accessory shoe.

I bought one just to assist in selecting the right lens to use so it
doesn't need to be mounted.
