I am not entirely serious, but astronomers are also bothered by stray 
light in the eyes while viewing and a few of them use the old sweat 
shirt trick.  Don't put it on your arms, just over the head, and 
drape the body of it over the eye piece. Might look funny with an OM 
and may not work with an 18mm lens. :-)
